Guest guest
" My husband has said he is going to start doing Tae Bo again when he comes home from work tonight again. I would be thrilled if he does. I know he would feel sooo much better! I have my fingers crossed!!!!!!! " Geez, I'd sure love to convince my fiance to workout to taebo, but he thinks it's a sissy workout!! I can attest to how much changing the way we eat can improve our weight loss efforts! Although, I hate to admit it, my eating habits before joining WW were absolutely horrendous!!! I was eating a lot of junk food (but denying it... I'm finding out that I'm very good at denying stuff in general), eating whenever, whatever! Not only has changing my diet helped me in my weight loss, but it has also helped me in my workouts! I workout better, because I am better fueled up (if that makes any sense!). Janick

You'll have a taebo partner. Good luck on the healthy eating. Cutting down fat should also improve your overall health (cholesterol level, e.g.). Good luck! Guest guest
Hi and ,I'm falling down on the job I'm afraid. I am Elly, and my job is to greet all newbies, just been having a difficult time recently, and now I will say hello and sorry for being a little slow!My friends in this group cover for me when I goof up,so I think I'm covered.By the way Ellen, and I know you're reading this, that baloon thing is rotten for people who are already seeing double!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Ok now down to business. I am so glad you were diagnosed and found us so quickly. From my own experience,it took 4 years for a diagnosis and at least 3 before I found this wonderful family. I have to admit I can't remember exactly how long it took you,but welcome home to both of you.We truely are like a big family,we have a mom and dad who are Bob and Carole in Florida and lots of brothers and sisters and a black sheep or two!No names mentioned, you'll find out eventually. You will find a lot of informed people here and everyone feels free to ask questions about meds, doctors, family problems,it is sometimes hard for our loved ones to see us in pain and understand we just want to be treated like everyone else, but can't always participate physically.Feel free to rant and if you are really down, our President is Carole (goes by Cat) Triller and she is there 24 hours a day if things get bad,she is very wise.I am sure you have already met Melt. How does anyone describe Melt? She is very sweet and loving and she will do anything and everything to get you answers. She even makes cozy blankets for those who are really having a bad time. The one thing that won't be tolerated is giving advice about what meds you should be on!You need to ask your docs about that, because everyone has Stills but everyone is unique in thier treatment.I have had Stills and Fibromyalgia since at least 92,I haven't ever really been in a remission but I'm hoping.Never lose hope.Again, welcome come in sit a while, sorry you had to be here, but glad you found us.
