You are right the theory of Dr. Mehta in using the growth spurt as a corrective factor is really true. I also would like to add do not make the same "mistake" that I made. I waited /wasted 1 year before going to the ortho dr. Infact just for my peace of mind I ask our dr. ( I believe we the same dr. right at LLUMC?) if it would have been better had I come 1 yr ealier right when I was reffered by pediatician but he assured that ; had I come earlier he would have kind of wait and see also. That time my daughter was 2 1/2 yr; only CXR was don so we did not really know the degrees; then a year later that's when she was seen by our ortho doc and she is at 32. She is now in her 2nd cast and is 22 degrees.

Wish you the best and keep us posted.
