Guest guest
Hey all. For those adults on spectrum who have horrible anxiety, have any of you ever tried extended-release xanax? My doctor prescribed me some to help with the anxiety of my surgery and it has been WONDERFUL. I requested the very lowest dose and she suggested the extended release. I feel that it's taken the terror out of my body without sedating me or making me lethargic. Just thought of those of you with anxiety, such as Sondra. It's a horrible feeling to feel so anxious all the time. I actually haven't had to take more than 3 doses in a 2 week period, it was like it kicked my body out of terror mode. I'm very thankful she prescribed it. I had tried some GABA supplementation but all it did was make me feel nauseous & give me a headache. Guest guest
I have a paradoxical reaction to Xanax. But Klonopin and Ativan work for me. > > Subject: those adults on spectrum - xanax > To: Autism_in_Girls > Date: Monday, November 17, 2008, 3:33 PM > Hey all. Guest guest
a paradoxical reaction is a reverse reaction. Like xanax makes me hyper and anxious. > > Subject: Re: those adults on spectrum - xanax > To: Autism_in_Girls > Date: Monday, November 17, 2008, 7:36 PM > Kassi what does paradoxical mean? never to hear of this > word. > sondra
Guest guest
kassi then people is of that for me. some seem to navigate to them for some unknown reasons and need of much of the people around them and for me find when around people I to get of more anxious , confused, overloaded, and agitated. but if it is of auitsm related people and or families they do tend to make of me feel more connected in many ways. but outside of that the world or people causes me great internal distress and panics/ sondra
