Guest guest
Hey all, one other off-topic question. I think I've developed an inguinal hernia from my recent abdominal surgery. I have in my lower right quadrant a very hot, burning rubber-band like sensation when I do some things, such as lift the opposite leg, climb into the van/bed, bend over then try to stand, lifting things, etc. I'm gonna call the surgeon Monday. I guess i'm hoping someone will tell me there is something to do besides surgery? I really don't feel like going back under the knife, esp when I feel part of the problem is that they didn't remove the abdominal panniculus I have. Anyone think a different surgeon than an oncology surgeon might be willing to remove the panniculus along with the hernia repair?
