We will certainly explore the soft wax from the drug store as well. Part of

the process with Miracle ear was a recommendation from her GP. Since she

is now 17, I feel that most of the changes that are going to change have

done so. It could also be possible to return to the company's facility and

have them recheck the ears from time to time. My mother goes back every six

months to have things checked out.

It was also indicated to me that the cost of each ear unit will be around

$45.00. If it is something that will help my daughter, I will find the

money for it. Don't know if her medical insurance will cover it or not.

That will be explored when more information comes in and if we decide to

take this route.

Thank you for the wax recommendation. We will check that out today.

When Jen was little to help with her sound sensitivity, I was told to

go buy at a drug store this soft wax light balls and place the wax

like stuff in her ears for short periods of time. This would give Jen

a break from the sound. I was not to leave the wax like stuff in for

long period of time, but it did help Jen deal with the sound

sensitivity. I would ask your doctors, before doing this because Jen

just turned twenty years old and that was over ten years ago, a lot

has changed in ten years.
