Guest guest
I saw doc last week but haven't had a chance to post. She wants me to continue the Kineret but add a daily allergy med, and see a pulmonologist. She doesn't know if there's a correlation between the Kineret and my wheezing, but there is! I can time it perfectly within 3 days of starting up the shots I'm wheezing and coughing. But maybe the Benedryl i am now taking nightly will help. I decided on Benedryl because it's the cheapest (versus Claritin or Zyrtec, etc) and it might help me sleep better. So maybe double whammy. She also wants me to ask the pulmonologist for a sleep study. yeah. I told her my fatigue and brain fog is coming back in full force and I started crying becuase she didn't want to add anything to help either of those issues. So there we have it. I see the pulmonologist next week and we'll see what they say. Houston, TX
Guest guest
: Don't you just love doctors! I believe you're correct about the corelation between the Kineret and your wheezing. I'm not sure Benedryl will help with that but I can't see it hurting either. personally, I'll sleep for a little while with Benedryl but it doesn't seem to last long enough with me to give me a full nights sleep. Good luck with that. I hope it goes well with the pulmonologist, maybe that doctor will listen to you and suggest something to help you breathe better. My son uses an inhaler (abuteral) for his asthma. It's simple but effective. Please keep us up to date, honey. Take care and be well.
