Guest guest
Hello to all the new people that have made a decision to improve themselves. I thought about answering each of your posts but thought a group hug would work. If you follow the body for life program you will make gains. They will not always come easy and they will not always come fast, but if you are determined and stick with it they will come. Here is my little motivation speach: BODY FOR LIFE: is what the name says, FOR LIFE. If it is not for life it is temporary. First goal should be to set up habits you will follow for life, not just for twelve weeks. Learn to love the nutrition, learn to love the workouts and learn to love the goal setting. If you do not do these things, it will not be for life but it will be temporary. Body for Life is a guide: Bill could not have found a way to tailer a program to each individual so he wrote an easy to understand and easy to follow guide called Body for Life. Keep in mind that there is a huge difference between using the guide to fit you and using the guide to justify what you want to do. cheat day does not mean to go out and eat a whole chocolate cake, drink twelve big gulps and see if you can finish the last of the donunts at the local donut shop. Cheat day is a day of mental relaxation where you do not have to worry if it is on your program. The cleaner you make cheat day the better your results, but infact you want to consume 500 - 750 more calories than on the rest of the days, this will keep your system from going into starvation mode and shut down fat loss. Keep it clean kids, it is ok to play, but play nice to yourself. Suppliments are important to EAS and yes they reguire you to use one for the challenge. Suppliments are not the key to your success, if you do not need it, don't use it. The normal person just beginning to workout and changing their diet by cleaning it up does not need fat blockers and fat burners, your system will do a great job of it, if you stick to the diet. When you get to the far end or reach a point where there is that last few stubborn pounds, then you might need a fat burner. If you have a slow metabalism, you doctor says so, not you have been told you do, then you might need a fat burner, it is actually a thyroid stimulator. You do need and will want some suppliments and there is just no two ways about it: high potency vitamin/mineral (not one a day) Protien powder Vitamin C, or something else that helps the immune system glutimine, also helps with the immune system ok, this one is not a suppliment but you should have some on hand, myoplex MRP, these are great for those time when you have to miss a meal or eat at the golden arches, take one from the glove box or your purse and there is your clean meal, sorry so much for the excuse of cheating. From this point on it is a matter of individual choice and decisions based on you goals and your own mental attitude. PLEASE READ: When asking for help, PLEASE give detailed information other wise you could get back an answer that is based on the person answerings experience and it may not fit you. Example without the right amount of information you could be told to eat less when in fact you might need to eat more because you dropped so many calories and increased your workout and cardio to a point your body has stopped burning fat. Ok, so much for the pep talk, now get the glutes to work and get tuff. TwoWalks
