Guest guest
-- Sound sensitive Mother had an appointment with her hearing aide company today. During the course of the visit, I asked the service technician if they had anything that could help my autistic daughter with her sensitivity to sound. The technician Said that they could make a set of ear protection for her that looks like a hearing aide. With this, they could hopefully make a device that had a better blocking ability than the 26 decibel ones that I had already purchased. They would have to have an authorization from her doctor since she was not 18 yet. This news is so exciting. If there is something out there that can help our children from the noise sensitivity it would certainly be wonderful. Going to the public restrooms would no longer be a problem!!! They should be contacting me soon about the possibilities. Dianna Annie's mother I will keep you all posted on the progress here.
