Guest guest
Paint Brush I keep my paint brush with me Wherever I may go, In case I need to cover up So the real me doesn't show. I'm so afraid to show you me, Afraid of what you'll do - that You might laugh or say mean things. I'm afraid I might lose you. I'd like to remove all my paint coats To show you the real, true me, But I want you to try and understand, I need you to accept what you see. So if you'll be patient and close your eyes, I'll strip off all my coats real slow. Please understand how much it hurts To let the real me show. Now my coats are all stripped off. I feel naked, bare and cold, And if you still love me with all that you see, You are my friend, pure as gold. I need to save my paint brush, though, And hold it in my hand, I want to keep it handy In case someone doesn't understand. So please protect me, my dear friend And thanks for loving me true, But please let me keep my paint brush with me Until I love me, too. Guest guest
--- This made me cry. How many of us feel this way about the worldlings. When we are sensitives and empathics. We have to pick and choose who we show our vulnerable, sensitive nature to. it's our natural way to be open and caring. That's a green flag for abuse. I know I have closed off from sharing myself with the worldlings as I call them. There is only one person ( a non worldling)I share myself with truly. I've learned to keep my own counsel. As I have toughened up or should I say become a screen and let things just go thru and not stick I still don't share with the worldlings but I don't care anymore what they think. you are a beautiful sensitive soul who is loved and respected and cared about by the many is this group. We all have different colors on from time to time, partly because most of us are empathic and our colors mix with others so quickly. I wrap myself in light every day and it helps not to pick up so much. You are home and safe with these people of this group and we all need and want your input and love in return. This group is a living growing soul and all of our individual leaves make us whole. If someone doesn't like or approve of us so what. That is there trip. Not ours, we just are to busy loving to pay any real attention to any judgemental issues. When you are in a war who has time to notice the small stuff. If you are concerned about that stuff then you are not fighting very effectivly are you?
