Hi everyone

Hope your all back to some resemblance of a normal life after Christmas. Who

ever called it the holiday season was never a parent lol

My wish for 2009 is to touch as many people as possible dealing with Autism. I

would like for everyone to know about our " Family " camps. If you belong to a

support group and would like printed information on the camps to hand out please

let me know and I am only to happy to send it out. Alternatively I can send you

the PDF and you can print it as needed.

I am also looking for volunteers for all of the camps as well as people who

would like the media to cover their family at the camps. I honestly believe any

media coverage can only be a benefit to those with Autism.

 

Also we are in need of people to host fundraising event's at their local

school's, churches , shopping centers etc. Money raised from any of these

event's go to the purchasing of sporting and arts and crafts equipments for the

families at camp to use.

 

If you feel you can help in anyway please contact myself or and we will be

very happy to chat and see what we can come up with.

 

Also we have an ebay store now with all money raised going to the camps as well.

Hi everyone

Camp Autism is a charity that I founded with my husband to offer camps to

" families " with a child/children on the spectrum. We are currently trying to

raise awareness of Autism in Australia and promote our camps as well. I just

thought I would let you know about the book we are doing and we are happy to

take submissions from any country. So if your on other groups I am happy for

this email to be forwarded to them as well.

 

CAMP AUTISM IS NOW TAKING PHOTO'S OF YOUR CHILD AND A PIECE OF THEIR OWN ART

WORK. THIS CAN BE IN THE FORM OF A DRAWING , PAINTING , A PHOTO THEY HAVE TAKEN

THEMSELVES. ALTERNATIVELY JUST A PHOTO OF YOUR CHILD WITH THERE OBSESSION WILL

BE AWESOME.

Do you have a child with ASD? Would you like to see their photo, artwork,

painting in a published book to be called FACES OF AUTISM ? Then we are now

asking for all of you to let us know. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE Only restrictions

are the child must be on the spectrum and under 18. All work must be their

originals. Photo artwork can be sent to West c/o camp_autism@...

Please only send the photos and art work if you wish them to appear in the book

as the book will then be made available for sale. This book is going to be about

awareness. I want the world to see our kids are beautiful and they dont need to

LOOK disabled to have issues.

Also mums do you have a favorite Autism quote line or statistic ? Please forward

it on as well. CLOSING DATE IS EASTER 2009 WITH ENTRANTS INTO OUR FIRST BOOK TO

BE ANNOUNCED ON MOTHERS DAY ( May 2009). HOPEFULLY THIS GIVES YOU ALL SOME TIME
