A friend has a baby who is now 8 months, I have not seen them since he

was born (about to meet up soon hopefully), I am very worried he is

heading in the 'autism' direction, if not ASD definitely ADHD ... he had

awful reaction to vaccines at 2 and 3 months, screaming his little head

off for days, then cramps and constipation/diarrhea, inconsolable and a

bit withdrawn...

Nowdays she is saying he is super hyperactive, never stops " " super

clingy " , " does not play by himself, not too interested in toys, only the

twinkling-light ones " , " only likes doors and windows " , ...on top of it

he has eczema on face and back.... so so so too similar to ds when he

was that age...

I didn't want to use the A word with her, but talked about hyperactivity

being linked to allergies and gut problems and how they should maybe see

a nutritionist and switch to goats milk formula...

I am thinking of maybe recommending Jon Tommey but don't know anyone who

has seen him, would that be a good idea? Is he in Surrey?

Or should they visit the homeopathy clinic in London, they also see kids

with hyperactivity? M would be great, but they cannot travel that

far with him as " he would go nuts sitting in car seat for that long "

(oooh, I know that one so well).

I know he is probably too young for many tests and treatments, but my

hope is if they see someone now they will listen to good advice from

early on and they stand more chance of avoiding bad stuff in future .

any suggestions at what else I could say to her - I mentioned avoiding

gluten and sugar for as long as they can, also getting him off formula

and diary as soon as she can, and looking into good CLO in few months

time, will also mention baby probiotics...
