Guest guest
I know there have been a few kids on the group with the waterproof casts. If you search for waterproof casts I'm sure you should be ableto find the discussions on them. IfI remember right one of the kids had a problem with it adhering to the childs skin. I'm sure the others with the waterproof cast will chime in. Guest guest
Hi , We tried the waterproof cast once. It was hotter and unfortunately we found when we removed it that it had adhered to 's skin and he had some bleeding, epecially at the pressure points and nipples. We did not try it again. That said, we are going to give it a try when is casted in June. I can not imagine another long, hot summer with out the sprinkler or pool. (I have a 8 year old and 6 year old). We still got good correction in it. It is a tough call. I know Barb's Evan has had many waterproof casts and he did very well in every one. Hopefully she will post on it. When is your next casting? We kept the waterproof cast on longer than 8 weeks so maybe that was part of the reason it stuck- it was so tight! Let me know what you are thinking.
