Guest guest
I hope someone's there with you. And I hope the sleep gave her the repair-time her little body needed! Prayers that she's bouncing around SOON. Penny

Actually I've been able to get more rest than I usually do, since I'm not chasing after and she has wanted me to lie down with her and hold her for much of the time. Her body needs all it's reserves, and I'm told that the pain can be unbearable. Plus the lumbar puncture can give you a terrible headache, and the body uses a lot of energy just combatting the pain. Meningitis also causes photophobia, so I have to keep it as dark as possible for her. > how is feeling today? > > Pennie > Abby's Mom She's a little more alert, but still very weak and doesn't want anything but water. Is it possible to be skinnier than a skeleton? She looks like one of those stick people kids draw! Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers,
