Guest guest
This really depends on the individual child and their own presentation of scoliosis. Some kids are of sturdy phenotype w/ low curves/rotation (non syndromic) and wont regress fast out of cast. Others have high or low curves, but have syndromes and are of slender phenotype and may regress really fast. Great question for the treating doc. HRH Re: Re: I need help from the experienced here... To: infantile_scoliosis Date: Wednesday, June 4, 2008, 1:55 PM You know, I've heard that theory before, too. But, I just feel like it hasn't been the case in Jack's spine. It seems that the longer he's in a cast, the worse of a rebound we get. And, stretching it another week just scares the heck out of me. We've lost six degrees from out of cast to out of cast this time. S
