At Todd's last cast appointment, Dr Khoury said he wants to try a

waterproof cast on Todd next time. He said it would have a gortex

lining, I think instead of the undershirt, and would take an hour to

dry after getting wet inside (like after swimming).

Does anyone have expereince with this?

They used some gortex padding on Todd's cast around some of the edges

this time, so I was able to see and feel it, and it seems kind of non-

breathable to me.

I want to give it a try, but don't want to wind up with a cast that

makes Todd even hotter than the regular kind!

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,

, Mommy to Todd
