The dark side of Special Education

Is this why we suggest to families that they quietly accept NOT

receiving services in a public school? I think this is the real reason.

This is a typical contract by FOR PROFIT law firms in denying services

to Special Need families in an ISD. But, we don't disclose this to

our families. I am not trying to single out an ISD, because all ISDs

do this.

This contract is to pay a law firm $1000 (yep, our taxes being used

against our children) to deny options and services to Special Need

children in an ISD. There is a nice sales pitch too ... free

publications that can go on a desk for light reading :>(

I bet these first few calls are very assuring and comforting for those

who want to build their case against a family.
