Guest guest
I am so happy for you! It's nice to hear of the kids who resolve without having to have treatment. Guest guest
The first doctor we saw was our pediatric orthopedist, Dr. Shevaun Doyle at Hospital for Special Surgery. We had seen her for a hip- check (our son was breach) when he was first born. She was not very familiar with the RVAD and we believe her measurements were a little off. In any event, we saw her in February. She then referred us to the Children's Hospital and we chose Dr. Vitale because he concentrated on scoliosis. I believe we saw him in February as well. We also saw Dr. Barron Lonner at Scoliosis Associates in NYC. He and Dr. Vitale measured within 1 degree of each other. They both suggested a " wait and see " - but since Dr. Vitale wanted to see our son within 2 months, we went with him. > I posted back in February/March about our then 4.5 month old son who > was diagnosed with infantile scoliosis.
