Guest guest
I'm still in the heavy night sweats but I do have the low grade temps 100-101 before bed...but if I did not make a point of taking my temperature I might not know it was there. I also notice a correlation between certain meds and extra night sweats. Take care, Mandi In a message dated 2/18/2008 11:00:09 A.M. Guest guest
, I seat like crazy on & off all day & night long, with no set pattern. To date, no one knows why, but it drives me crazy. I'll be sitting down and start pouring sweat and then I'll be freezing (chills) 1/2 an hour later. Have a good one, Kirk. (PS...still here)(Constantly exhausted, 1st time I've been online in over a week. I have blood work coming up & see my RD next week. I hope for an answer!) > > Good morning everyone, > I have a question for the group. I have been waking every time I sleep, > day or night, drenched. Guest guest
It happens to me and I don't get the fevers. What helps me is that I just don't use covers at night anymore. The doc has told me that it is the prednisone. But, Kineret blocks fevers. I just switched to Remicade and I think that blocks fevers, too? Anyway, I sweat day and night off and on to the point of soaked shirts or sheets...yuck. Mark Waking all wet Good morning everyone, I have a question for the group. Guest guest
honey, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know how uncomfortable it is and I feel for you darling. Yes, it happens to me too. Many things can bring it on from what I've experienced. Change of life, stress, extremely fitful sleep or your body is just too hot for whatever reason. I have yet to find a sure fire way to resolve the shvitzing (yiddish for sweating) but I do find that drinking water before bed is actually somewhat helpful. It doesn't stop it but it does actually lessen it a bit for me. You actually need to talk with doctor and make them listen! Make a point of it somehow. Tell you what, I'm going tomorrow to the new RD, I'm going to bring it up anyway. I'll let you know what he says. I'm adding it to my list of questions right now. In the meantime, perhaps you should try sleeping with either lighter clothes or (it may be uncomfortable for you) nothing at all. Perhaps a lighter blanket or different type of sheets. Just out of curiousity, have you changed your laundry detergent recently? Take care and be well my darling, . Ellen
Guest guest
Dear , I too wake up sweating and soaked. I sweat alot all the time. I try not to wear long sleeves as much a possible. Sometimes my fevers shoot up and down and I figure that is the cause? Hmm, I wonder if you can take tylenol on your bad fever days, if that would help?
