Where can one get a diagnosis that is acceptable to school district?

Most Texas schools are not accepting " medical diagnosis " of autism.

Where does one go to get an autism diagnosis that is acceptable to

school districts? We just got an independent educational evaluation,

the educational diagnostician cannot diagnose autism....Does this need

to come from a psychologist? a developmental pediatrician? any

recommendations for the DFW area?
