Guest guest
I hope or anyone mind but I have placed several of the Alternative biomedical intervention resource URL. If anyone is reading directly from the listerve under the links file, under Alternative biomedical intervention to click onto, for future reference. I know there is a separate website with resource but sometimes when under like this yahoo group list, it is nice to reflect back to under the link files. Just the beginning of posting what I could do with the information everyone has shared. Remember this opens the doors for us family or caregivers to come together for our beliefs on empowering others where needed and educate those who cross our bridge to seek action where needed. Especially when told by medical professionals in the field that there is little that can be done to help your child live a functional life. We do have one very important thing in common and that is our unspoken love for our children and our determination to make a difference in their life. If I had not walked in these shoes with our experiences never would of believed it but since a lesson learn here. I am a believer due to the great results being shown on a daily basis with my son. Yesterday, as my son awoke independently got up to give me a huge hug. This I missed awhile back with his set backs, as I had to literally get him off his bed or if he had it his way would of remain in bed all day due to being too weak, he had lost alot of weight so I was able to lift him and sit him on the toilet which was very heartbreaking to observe with losing all his skills he once mastered during his secondary years and then to make sure he ate by spoon feeding him, had no appetite and never ending fever almost on a daily basis. Had excessive absences, no go for any homebound, ended up having a brief ARD meeting in May and just came to conclusion of having him withdrawal from school, so he has become a drop-out. Once again my dream shattered as I had him removed during his high school years for falling through the school cracks, another chapter but did not graduate with his HS peers or at the Vocation Transition Program. Due to the alternative biomedical intervention he is coming around, health wise which is all good. Recently seen by one of his team of conventional medical professional for a follow up and was pretty impressed with the latest which was this past Thursday. Gain some weight, nice skin color tone & fingernails, expressing a few words loud and clear like " No " . This doc knowing some of the treatments he is under out in Austin was just shaking his head with amazement of what he was observing from his last visit and to know what FDA does not approve which he will not express loudly my way, only showing signs of expressions when what I have to share watching not to cause any red flags. I had sneezed, a loud and clear " Bless you " from my son, just fantastic with his words he shared my way. Still dealing with other issues but one hurdle at a time is such a gift for now. Am I just relying on the clinic's treatments? " NO " , doing my share of work when home with following the recommendation protocol the best I can since still learning the flow. Yesterday made one of his favorite GF/CF/soy-free/egg-free/corn-free tortillas, he was enjoying and munching away with expressing loud an clear " mmmmmmmm, good " , is such an approval. I actually ate one with hummus as a spread, then applied a little no-nitrate bacon, a little hash brown, lettuce, tomato & avocado, it was yummy, glad he enjoyed it, to know he was once a problem eater. Such a welcome force one enters that drives me every morning to get up and prepare the days supplements and the cooking, lots of preparing on this special diet mission. There were some times though, during his set backs just wanted to throw in the towel where I figure there was just no such thing as a treatment to make him well as his health kept deteriorating but glad I did not give up thanks to many angels watching over him. I bet y'all can relate? My son has taught me so much more about life than I could have even learned on my own and has given me the ability to see life through his eyes which is very different than the world that most of us live in. All worth it!!! Irma
