Guest guest
Yesterday in pharmacology class my professor asked if any of us are anti-vaccine. A woman on the front row said her infant son (does not have autism) nearly died from a vaccine and she will not give them to her kids any more, and her doctor concurs. I stated that I'm not anti-vaccine, but I do believe there are unknown risks and serious problems with the current program. I think there are ~25 parent out of us 30 students. Virtually every one of them stated problems they have with the way things currently are. These parents were getting shots long before they knew me. They are continuing to get their kids immunize but are not happy with it. So people like offit & snyderman are essentially saying the vast majority of parents, professionals who also have problems, are wrong but they are right. It's just not accurate or fair.
