Guest guest
I started a yahoogroup a while back for those of us in the NW Houston area. I hate soliciting for members here but I don't know of any other similar venues to let people know about a group where we could get together and chat about local autism topics...online or in real life...schools, therapists, doctors, etc. The group is nwhoustonautism. Hope to see you there.

It seems like there is already a fairly well established autism group out of Tomball. Maybe someone can help me out here. I don't participate because, if I'm remembering clearly, it is more geared for families of kids with classic autism and my child is Asperger. Guest guest
If there is one, I don't know about it...except for that playgroup that gets together at the park once a month and that's not what I had in mind. My son is 9 and those kiddoes are all much younger. My son is PDD- NOS and presents more like an Aspie. I just wanted to start something like this group online but for folks in my area...so if you, or anyone else, wants to join...please do. Maybe we can do coffee and vent, mom's nite out (or dads too). I don't know...I just need more support and really don't have that many people around me who understand what we go through. > It seems like there is already a fairly well established autism group > out of Tomball.
