Guest guest
Hi - glad you have found the Karaoke (sp?) site. Our son is thirty-five, and when he is stressed at all usually by "therapeutic" relationships, he displays severely obsessive compulsive traits. Just last week he stacked all my DVDs in a leaning tower of Pisa type fashion; my husband resolved this issue by simply boxing them up. But, in addition, efforts to have him participate in house-keeping result in much the same type of thing. He develops compulsions that you and I would never dream of. Like pouring our bottled drinking water into the washing machine. Luckily our home was built for him, not by us, however. So I just lock up a door which leads to the washer when I see this trend coming on. I have found that the more you try to force the stopping of such a "behavior" the worse it gets. So simply ignore it and take steps to make him go around it. Until the next compulsions develops. Would you say this resembles Tourette's?
