Guest guest Posted December 4, 2008 Report Share Posted December 4, 2008 Does anyone know why the school would put " On Grade Level " (he's in 2nd grade) for reading when he is dyslexic and reading on or below first grade level? My child is not given a " grade " for reading or writing/language arts...it is just left blank. When I questioned this, the teacher questioned ME why I would want a grade there because it would be in comparision to grade level ability. So I responded that if he is below grade level in reading, I want that stated on his report card. Is there something I should know about this that I don't? Help!
