Just got this in my inbox. Attachment may not post. Public Input meeting on SpEd on behalf of TEA on Monday 12/08/08. It's not to late to register. I called Region 4 and registered by phone, # or you can register on line www.esc4.net; or just show up. There will be 2 sessions, on in afternoon and one in evening

Dear Special Education Directors, Region 4 Education Service Center (Region 4) is hosting a Texas Special Education Public Input and Information meeting on behalf of the

Texas Education Agency (TEA) to gather input on special education in Texas. The meeting will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008 with two with meeting time choices: 2:30 to 4:00 pm or 6:30 to 8:00 pm. This meeting is a part of the Texas Continuous Improvement Process (TCIP) and is not a public hearing. The 2008-09 Public Meetings will be open to any interested stakeholder to attend.

Attached is the flyer containing meeting details and registration information. Please share with stakeholders in your district or charter school (e.g., general and special education staff, parents, and administrators). If district/school policy allows, please post the flyer on your district or charter school Web site.
