Guest guest
Hi , Nope, you’re not the only one. I am continually on the edge. Our circumstances are very different, but I know many families in your similar situation and they also wonder when they will be able to “get off” of the roller coaster. It’s the fear of the unknown that makes us feel this way. Just know that you are not the only one. That’s really why CAST was started. We were tired of feeling so alone in our scoliosis journey, and wanted to be able to talk with others who would understand. I am glad that you found CAST and that it has provided solid info and support to you. Please don’t ever hesitate in recommending changes to improve the group. Sincerely, HRH From: infantile_scoliosis [mailto:infantile_scoliosis ] On Behalf Of Dye Sent: Sunday, December 07, 2008 5:18 PM To: infantile_scoliosis Subject: (unknown) I just read a couple posts about " emotional roller coasters " and " feeling blue " and had to reply. I read the posts constantly because there's great information, but for some reason it never occurred to me that you parents have some of the same crazy feelings I do. My craziness starts a couple days before we go to Chicago. I get myself all worked up about packing bags and making sure my other daughter is taken car of while I'm gone. It's not really that hard, but I make myself so stressed out. I think alot of it is seeing my daughter go through the casting, hoping for improvement, and worrying about what the doctor will say. Traveling with a two year old just really is hard! Well I think my craziness and stress is a combination of things, but I'm so glad to find out that I'm not the only one who gets emotional at casting time.
