Don't know what ISS stands for but in our old district we had DMC...Detention

Management Center...and my then 6yo 1st grader was sent there when he " chose "

not to do his work and they couldn't get him to comply. But, they never informed

me ahead of time he was going there...I only found out afterwards. And it was

after several trips there and other bad experiences that I decided to pull him

out of public school. That was 3yrs ago. So, you may want to pay a visit to this

ISS and rewrite your BIP. And sounds like they don't know how to deal with his

behaviors. Most public schools just want to treat autistic kids like they're

willfully misbehaving. The teachers and admins need training.
