I have heard some of you say that you get vitamins from vitalady. I

have been getting the Bariatric multivitamin (high in ADEK)and D3-50

from them for a few months now. I have been really happy and was

wondering what some others might have experienced?

Keep two things in mind: She is in the vitamin business for profit and

does not have the best prices. I do not take her products, but to

compare them to other sources when shopping around.

The other thing to keep in mind is that she has had a gastric bypass.

Oh, and I keep a third thing in mind, she is NOT a medical person and

tends to present herself as educated, but she is NOT. So, you really

have to do your homework. There is a tiny disclaimer somewhere on her

page, but I feel it isn't enough.

If your labs are good, and your happy with the Bariatric Advantage

vitamins (they are a good company) then there is no reason to make

changes...DON'T fix what ain't broke!

My past labs were not good. Dee sent me to Vitalady to get the D3-50

and I decided that I really should get the multivitamins with ADEK and

I like chewables! ;0)

Not looking to change anything. I was just curious about others

experiences. Plus it was one way to make you people talk!!! ;0)

lol...I do this at times also. Sometimes explaining answers too much

not for the benefit of the person I'm talking to, but for

the " listeners " .

If Dee said Vitamin D3-50 then of course D3-50 it is. ( I Use D3-50

from Vitalady plus a couple other items..just because it is easier

than hunting around and for now it's working...lol..so I don't fix

what ain't broke) Taking " Additional " ADEKs is great as an add-on. I

have kinda moved away from ADEKs and now supplement the individual

vitamins...that way I can control the amounts of EACH one.

We are individuals and, as time goes on, will need individual vitamin

requirements that are driven by our labs. EXPECT to tweak over

time. As a personal philosophy...it is easier to cut back when

levels are getting too high than to build up when levels drop too

low. So I'm aggressive, persistent and healthy.

Your a great role model for us all! What would we do without you?

And I have taken all my vitamins like a good Dser today, again! AND

said she actually had a burst of energy today after taking

her supplements. Hey!! Why didn't anyone tell us that taking our

vitamins would make us feel better!? (Just Kidding!)

*Feeling especially awnry today* Must be the vitamins! *Hehe*
