Guest guest
I have mixed feelings about VitaLady. I first dealt with the male partner of VitaLady. He was arrogant and talked down to me and kept insisting I had a pouch. I was ticked off but I ordered D3-50 and iron and B12 from him. They came in a timely manner and I am happy with the product and the price. When my ADEKs were unavailable from all the pharmacies, Costco, and WalMart I emailed VitaLady and ordered an ADEK equivalent and if that didn't match ordered Vitamins A, E and K separately. I told them to use my same credit card on file. They emailed me in bold blue print and made comments regarding getting the ADEKs that I normally get and that they probably would not be available in the Fall and maybe never. So I assumed they would follow my directions and send me the individual vitamins. The next day I got a email stating that the VitaLady was out of town for several weeks. I never got my order. When I emailed them again asking where it was they referred me to order numbers from my very first order. I just figured that they were incompetent and that maybe I shouldn't deal with them. Now I have to drive 30 miles one way to find what I need at a health food store or try Costco. Marla WA State PS: Ann, I didn't know you got married. I remember you saying you had met the " love of your life " and I saw his pictures but I didn't know you got married. Congratulations! I finally played my first golf on the course today. I have had four lessons and let me tell you that playing on the course is a lot more fun. We went out late and had to keep dodging the sprinkler system. I actually like this game. So much to remember in the beginning but good exercise. I can't believe I like walking the course instead of riding in our golf cart. **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers. Guest guest
I get my D3 from Vitalady as she has the best price. I also have been taking BA ADEK's and my labs are great. But they get expensive taking 3 a day... but I have good labs.I am going to try Kirkland multiples when my BA run out and see if my labs stay good. My fav flavor of BA was tropical. Obviously if my labs go downhill I will be right back to BA ADEKS. Guest guest
I have a brother-in-law who had a rny and he wasn't taking his supplements. I explained to him that it was like a wealthy man who only withdraws large amounts of cash from his account...eventually he will go broke if he does nothing to replenish the funds. And it depends on how wealthy the man was in the first place as to how fast he will go bankrupt. I told my brother-in-law his body was going vitamin bankrupt and if he didn't take action he may never be able to recover his wealth (read: HEALTH). (this is a readers digest version of my speech to him) I had finally said something to him that made sense. Something he could relate to. He started to take his vitamins...one week later he was a ball of energy and feeling good. My sister-in-law thanked me as she was watching him go downhill and was worried sick. Taking our vitamins are not Optional. Eventually the body will go vitamin bankrupt if we don't supplement or supplement ENOUGH. It is easier and cheaper to stay healthy rather than to recover. Hugs Jo (lol...who once again wrote more than necessary for the benefit of the " listeners " hehehe) > Your a great role model for us all! What would we do without you? > And I have taken all my vitamins like a good Dser today, again! AND > said she actually had a burst of energy today after taking > her supplements. Hey!! Why didn't anyone tell us that taking our > vitamins would make us feel better!? Guest guest
Hi Marla! You may be confusing Ann with Anne? I've been married for 23 years-- Happily, too! Hugs and blessings, Ann PS: Ann, I didn't know you got married. I remember you saying you had met the " love of your life " and I saw his pictures but I didn't know you got married. Congratulations! Guest guest
Yes, I realize that now! This has been an interesting turn of events. My sister's husband called me to thank me for getting her to call Dee and take this seriously. Then my dad told me last night that he would take either (or both) of us to Delano anytime we needed to see Dr K! He's got a Prius and loves to show it off on road trips! *lol* That was just so nice of him. It really touched me. I am SOOOOOOOOO glad that I came back here and spoke up! > > > > I have a brother-in-law who had a rny and he wasn't taking his > supplements.
