Guest guest
, I'm no doctor but here is my two pence. Years ago I was on medication for gout. I took one pill every morning for almost four years. Then one morning I took the pill and had a horrible reaction. I have not been able to take the medication since as I break out in hives and become nauseated. One day the medication was fine, the next day I couldn't take it. You might ask your PCP if nausea is one of the side effects. You could just be building up enough reserve in your body that it is now causing a problem. Or, the increasing dose may be more than your body can tolerate. As I said, that's just my two pence based on my experience with a different drug. Guest guest
Thanks Slim Jim! *Grin* Yeah, I emailed my PCP a little while ago and nausea is a side effect but usually doesn't come on after the first few weeks. (According to WebMD) Funny thing is, I just ate chili again! Once again I can't eat more than a few bites of any other food but I ate a large cup of chili (slowly) with out a problem. Just lots of loud digesting noises! *lol* C > > , I'm no doctor but here is my two pence. > > > > Years ago I was on medication for gout. I took one pill every morning for > almost four years. Guest guest
Good news, C; I'm glad that you have an answer for the problem. Some days I eat fine, and other day just the look of some food makes me ill. Other times I'm just fine until I put the food in my mouth and I know if I swallow, it's coming back up. I know how you feel.
