Guest guest
Thank you BJ. Does OCD get worse when they are sick. With all that handwashing my son does, I cannot remember the last time he was sick. Is it that they don't have enough strength to stand up against the bad thoughts? Guest guest
Hi All, Just to remember back, my daughter had her fear of vomiting so severely every time she was " sick " it panicked her.. I remember one time, she was probably 10 or so, she stayed very still fighting the nausea for an entire 24 hours. It was agony to watch... I have never seen a child focus so much attention.. and be so uncomfortable, for so long. My son, however, 14 now, ADHD, is SO much easier to deal with when he is sick.. particularly with a fever, he is sweet and wonderful and " easy " and appreciative.. and so it goes...
