Guest guest
I sometimes think that the worst part of being a caregiver is seeing the ugly side of human nature. Good luck. My father had a honking case of diverticulitis a few years ago, and it was unpleasant, but not a terrible ordeal. I'm sure Jim will be fine. Take care of you, dargie At 11:48 PM 10/30/2004, you wrote: >Thank you all so much for your prayers and concerns, >this group means so much to me. You lift my spirits >when the going gets tough. Guest guest
Jim, Best of luck with your surgery. I wish you a speedy recovery. Bonnie Subject: JIM UPDATE To: DS_Friends_Keshishian Date: Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 8:04 PM Hi one and all; I had the pre-op appointment today and Dr. K wanted to direct admit me so that they can " pump you full of vitamins and other things. " I drove myself, so I had to come home to arrange transportation. So he wants me in hospital by 8 a.m. tomorrow with surgery Friday as planned. More later. Guest guest
Jim, never use the words " urologist " and " slice and dice " in the same sentence, please. We do have a few men on this board. Guest guest
ouch, sorry Jim, I know that had to smart (again) Dee Jim update Well last Friday the anesthesiologist was a butt and wouldn't put me under so the surgery was rescheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday). The Dr. K told me to call at 8 a.m. tomorrow and find out when I had to be there. But as I read the discharge paper, it said I had to be at hospital by 6 a.m. I telephoned the office to find out which of the two instructions were correct. Well guess what? My surgery was postponed because the urologist forgot to schedule time to slice and dice me tomorrow. The surgery in now on the 11th. I should write a book.
