Guest guest
, were you able to get or ask about the medicine for Phil's mouth called Niastantin? It is a liquid that you swish in your mouth and then swallow. It always tasted gross to me but would clear up the thrush and mouth pain for me. When my Still's was first diagnosed I also lost all appatite for food as a side affect from the disease itself. I lost down to 107 lbs and I am five foot nine inches tall and just over. For a woman that is quite tall and I was just bones but I was told that was or can be a side affect of the disease itself. I hope you can ask Phil's doctor about the medication. It did get better for me, I know being the caretaker isn't easy either because my husband now has arthritis in his spine from work and it is harder this year, much harder than it ever was for me to help myself. I'm here if you ever would like to email me personally to share or talk. Hang in there because sharing really does help.
