It's not McCarthy. It's this constant battle of ND " accept your

kids and what ever health problems they have " vs " treating kids and

ridding autism. " Several of us for YEARS have tried to define it &

split hairs to show we really aren't that apart. A couple of people on

here are notorious for hiding behind the autism label as a reason to

post inflammatory messages while expecting us to walk on eggshells

because of the autism label. And a couple more of us are notorious for

having very short levels of tolerance to deal with it over & over & over.

McCarthy is not the problem here.

Well said as a mom I fit into both. I accept all my kids no matter what their

differences. But it does not mean I will ever stop helping them be the best they

can be.

 

I do therapy with my daughter with Autism. But is it any different to hiring a

tutor for English exams for her brother ? I dont think so. If we fail to do

anything we are wrong , we do therapy and we are bad.

 

I guess if thats the case I am a bad bad bad parent for loving my kids and

wanting them to have the best of everything in life.

 

Off to do some bad parenting by making a meal for my kids helping them to bath

and clean their teeth,
