Guest guest
Hi, I'm new here. My DH, 18-mo old DD, and I live in St. , MN. We've been drinking raw milk for 8 months (before that drank whole, unhomogenized organic for years). Recently my extended family learned of our dairy choices and I've been getting lectures at every family event about the dangers of raw milk. The first few times I thought, " well, I better do more research " and so I did - only to solidify my stance against the toxic, milk-like product and support my love of the health-giving dairy that we drink. The most appauling thing in my research was a journal article (I think in the Journal of Dairy) where they were testing how the shelf life of milk from cows with mastitis compares with other milk. Mind you they were not interested in the healthfulness or safety - it was a taste test. Can we market milk from sick cows and if so how long can we have it on the shelves until people think it tastes bad? In fact, a lot of research in " the industry " was marketing research - I was initially surprised by that, but when I really think about it, it's not all that surprising. OK, enough about that. Anyway, glad to find you guys. .
