Guest guest
Hi everyone, I got in touch with Rochester today over the huge jump in Noelle's x-ray from the office visit to the x-ray taken just before her casting... Apparently the casting x-ray was measured by the radiologist and her casting doc remeasured all the x-rays that were taken over both days and his numbers are a bit different... The care coordinator didn't have the measurements for me, but told me her doc said not to worry at this point... He isn't concerned yet... I guess that makes me feel a little better and at least he is aware of my concerns. I will discuss this with him in detail in October when we return to Rochester. Also, , the PBA in my town is throwing Noelle a fundraiser in October and I would love to hand out some brochures for ISOP.... Let me know.... Guest guest
There can be such a discrepency between two different docs measuring. I am sure, knowing your doc, if he was concerned he would have told you at your post op meeting. When we brought up that hadn't shown any improvement in three casts he definitely seemed a bit frustrated. Point is I think he would tell you. You should not worry about it now and be sure to ask for some clarification when you go next time. A doc we saw in Erie had measurement off from our current doc so sent the xrays to my friend in town who is a radiologist so see what was going on. A fundraiser for Noelle is great! What is PBA?
