Guest guest
When we got an ASD diagnosis for our daughter here in London, it took 7 months through the NHS. Obviously if I had my time again I wouldn't do it that way and waste precious time. People now who have fears ask me: 'where should I go to find out?' And I don't know. I don't have a paediatrician or GP in this country even though I've lived here for 12 years and I don't know who to trust. Our DAN doc lives in NZ. So. Where do you go in London if you think your child might have an ASD and you want to find out quickly and you have the funds to do so? And then what? Put your name down on the waiting list of one of the few DAN doctors here in the UK or go to America and find one? I'd really appreciate any thoughts so I can be helpful. The first thing I do for anyone who asks me is to join this group and Treating Autism! Cheers Simone
