Zovirax question (for 3 year old)

Hi everybody. I am wondering if anybody can help me. I have a 3 year

old boy with a ASD diagnosis. I am just starting with the Zovirax and I

am not sure about the dosage. So far my family doctor prescribed it for

one month with a regular dosage (according to weight) 5 times a day. If

you had any experience with Zovirax could you tell me how it was?

Should I try to convince my doctor to try Valtrex?

My daughter is almost 5 and around 35 lbs and she takes 400mg 3 times

a day and it has been miraculous for us! I have written about it here.

Zovirax is dosed 5x a day so you're doc is right.  We used Zovirax for a while and it worked great.  Our doc likes to jump us around on antivirals but I think we were on it for about 6-8 months.  I would stick with it for a while and see how your boy does.
