I'm glad you enjoyed your ride through the North. To me, London was alot

like some cities in the states, except the buildings were much older.

LOL Up north, like in Glossop, Derbyshire, there are places that

literally haven't changed for hundreds of years. The old timers used to

talk to me about the various candences people made when they walked with

their wooden shoes to the cotton mills and clothing factories.

Apparently, you could tell who a person was long before you saw them

because of the cadence. Imagine going to work in wooden shoes!

Glad to see you back and glad you had a good time with your family.

Love,

, funny thing is, I read that Manchester is the worst place to

live when you measure longitivity. lol Too much smoking and drinking

and bad-for-you food, it seems.

When we drove back north in England, I felt relief. The south may be

prettier and nicer, but I prefer the more open, less crowded feel of

the North of England, much as I prefer such places in the States.

Marta, I am unsure about what the difference there is between the Vitamin

D's. On my blood tests it has only listed Vit D 1.25 DIHYDROXY norm 15-60 and

mine for the past two years has been 34. Not tested before that. Is the D-3-50

a better form of D? Is it simply a different form of D? Should I be tested

for it before taking it? I am now taking 1,000 mgs of Vit. D twice a day with

my calcium. It is cholecalciferol, whatever the heck that is. It also has

some calcium in it. My last test was last Sept. With all the talk of Vit. D I am

in a quandry about which form and how much and all that, as I am unsure which

kind is best for me. Is there a place on the internet that can explain,

without sales pressure being their motive, that would explain about the

different

vitamins and such? Jo, do you know of one? I, of course want to do what is

best for this old bod.

Not wanting to stir anything up, just a personal question.

Pearl,

Just a quick reply from work.  Vit D3 IS cholecalciferol.  If you need more Vit

D  Dr. K will send you a prescription for it.
