Guest guest
Pearl, Glad to hear you will be at the June meeting. I will be there, too. I am flying in on the 9th June just so I can get to the meeting on Tuesday night. I see Dr. K on Wednesday and fly home on Thursday. I look forward to meeting you in person. Love and blessings, < Re: Re: Marta Marta, you know I have a problem with getting out on my own because of my daughter. I go no where without her, or do anything without her. Basically my life consists of taking care of her. Going to the Dr her in town even involves taking her with me most of the time. I just don't trust her to a babysitter, nor do I know of anyone besides my brother who is an hour and twenty minutes away to leave her with. He is willing to take care of her for me, but that is hard for me to do. I have been so lucky to have him take her when I had my surgeries, and then take me. I used to dance and belong to a dance group, but then I had so many surgeries I became unable to dance and teach dance, so that is out. Not that I wouldn't love to do that again, but that is also at night, and guess who has to be home and putting her daughter to bed at eight. You know how I always have to head home from the meeting because of getting her to bed. I will be at the June meeting, and I don't have to go home early, as she will be at camp, so I can come early and stay late. Heck I can even get a room and stay if I need to. I have the week by myself. Monday to Friday that is. She is going to camp for the first time in years. I don't know if I will know what to do with myself. Heck I may even go out one of those nights and see if I can find my old dance group. It has been years though. Can't dance now because of my arm. Dang, dang, dang. Oh well... Guest guest
I used to live around Machester, for 10 years in the 1970s. It was a beautiful experience. I particularly loved Glossop in Derbyshire and Stalybridge in Cheshire. We co-managed pubs, my ex and I. We had two city pubs in Lancashire and Manchester, too. The idyllic settings of the country pubs was quite enjoyable. Glad to hear you had a good trip, Marta. And, your Don sounds like a fantastic person. I think he's a keeper. Blessings and love, < Re: Marta Pearl, I will be home tomorrow night and hope I remember to record that program. I am looking forward to viewing it. I think I got the June NGM already, I remember the article about the Snow Leopards. I am exhausted from doing so much this trip! We did the cruise, did the car tour, put up a playground and storage shed. Wow. I need a hot tub soak. I owe my DD(Dear Don) a huge thanks for taking on my family with such good grace, too, and doing so much work for them/me. Someday you should come over here and do what you dream of doing. My mom waited too late and when I tried to take her, it turned out her health wasn't good enough for travel. I felt bad for her. Marta tired and can't wait to go back home! lol > > Hi Marta, > I have been reading of your time in England and remembering my two trips > there. I wanted to, but didn't get to go to Stonehenge. Guest guest
Thanks, Betsy. I am the Chief of my docs, so I have a lot of responsibility. I probably should treat myself nicer. Anyway, I co- own the group so cannot go away. Marta > > Hi Marta > > > Hope you are feeling less stressed....I for one certainly appreciate the time and energy you put into this list. Â It helps me tremendously to have your sound take on things, esp since I live so far out of state. Â How do you juggle all your hats? Â Please don't stay away! > > > Betsy
Guest guest
Marta aren't you going to bring DD for us to meet? My grandson is home from the AF for his wedding. I saw him Sat. for my daughters 50th birthday party. Her actual birthday is today. Seems weird to say I have a 50 year old daughter. I told her that one of these days I will catch up to her. LOL I have a nephew that always says my daughters are older than I am, as they are stick in the mud types, never want to go and do anything, and I am always on the go. So he has said for years that they are older than me. Now who couldn't/wouldn't love a nephew like that. He is just 11 months older than my oldest too. My grandsons wedding is this wedding, two days for the honeymoon, then he goes back to Aviano, Italy ALONE. He has to go back and get the paper work done to bring her over. Hope to see you tomorrow. Pat, if you can come, please bring your big shirt. I do have a reason. Pearl **************Gas prices getting you down? Search AOL Autos for fuel-efficient used cars.
