Guest guest
> Oh, speaking of the video fairy, I got my Tae-bo Live tapes > yesterday. My husband and I did the basic one yesterday and today. I > like it! Someday I will be able to do the advanced levels! HAHA , I don't know if I ever welcomed you to the group! If I didn't......welcome to the group This is a great group of people! There are so many different Tae-Bo tapes to choose from...it can be bit confusing when you first start to figure out where to start! There is the Live Series (I believe you mentioned that you just got the Live 4 pack....that is an awesome investment), the Get Ripped Series, and there are also several tapes that came out like Abs and Glutes, TaeBo Junior, TaeBo Gold, TaeBo Inspirational, etc. For the most part, you see us talking about the Live series (BL1 is Basic Live Volume 1, BL2 would be volume 2, etc.....there's also AL1, AL2, etc....which mean Advanced Live Volume 1, Volume 2, etc....there are 12 each of both the basic and Advanced). We also call the basic and advanced in the Live 4 pack the Basic and the Advanced because I am in those tapes....LOL.....and it helpe distinguish them from the original studio tapes (there is an original 4 pack of tapes that came out in the very beginning and those are called the studio tapes). Also, the Get Ripped tapes just came out and those are a set of 2 basic, 2 advanced, an 8 minute workout and the Impact Instructinal (shows the basic moves using a standing bag). If you want to get those tapes, I'd suggest getting them from QVC (www.qvc.com...then search for Taebo) because the set of 6 tapes is only $44.79 as opposed to $68.80 on the TaeBo website (both of those prices include shipping). Getting the tapes from QVC is a GREAT deal because you are basically paying like $7.50 per tape! And you get lots of variety! I hope I'm not confusing you or telling you stuff you already know.....LOL! To sign up for automatic delivery of the Live Series(where you get a new tape delivered every month)..you just go to the main taebo website (www.taebo.com) and click on products. That will take you to a page that lists all the tapes that are available. You then would click on 'Taebo Live Series' and that will take you the page where you will see 'Taebo Automatic Delivery Program'. You can sign up for the basic automatic delivery or the advanced automatic delivery. There are 12 volumes of each (12 basic workouts and 12 advanced workouts). I would suggest starting with the basic delivery and then after a few months, when you start to feel like you need more of a challenge, you can switch to advanced! Also, if you sign up for automatic delivery..you save $5...the tapes are $19.95 plus S+H (instead of $24.95 plus S+H)....so even if you only want 1 or 2 tapes (and not the whole series), it's still worth it to sign up for the automatic delivery and then cancel after you have enough tapes! Also, there is a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you ever get a tape that you don't really like..you can send it back! Whew, that's a lot of information, huh? Let us know if you are totally confused and we can help you figure out where to start There are so many great people on this list! Any time you have a question, feel free to ask it
Guest guest
Tina, Another nurse here! Seems like we all have worst times with our hospital stays. I always said if something weird is going to happen it will happen to me. I take as a rule 2 multi vits a day one in am and one in PM. Then my D, A, calcium and iron. So I am not sure it is recommended to take two but a lot of people do it. You are just getting out of the " what the hell have I done to myself? " phase of the surgery. your just getting to the part where the weight loss is starting to show and still dropping fast. This is the fun part of the losses although it is frustrating to try and buy clothes at this point. In a message dated 7/17/2008 12:24:01 A.M. Guest guest
The Paso mtg is at the Senior Center on Street at 6 pm (tonight) its always on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Its a good mtg, Dr K tries to get there every month but if he isn't there Vicki takes over. Dee A few Questions Does anyone who posts here go to the Support Group Meeting in Paso? Where is it located? Do you need to take more calcium over the RDA in the Multivitamin? I take Optisource, and a mixture of Calcium at present. Also on Biotin, if It says I am getting the full RDA do I take another additional capsule? I am 3 weeks post-op, and trying to find my way in a confusing new world. I am down over 25 pounds, with 6 " off my hips! Yahoo!! I may end up glad I had this surgery after all, I was beginning to wonder. My hospital stay was horrible. I am a nurse, and they say nurses are the worst patients, so I'll take a small amount of the blame, but not much. Thanks for any input, it's very appreciated, Tina
