Guest guest
Jo, Can magnesium intake affect your potassium levels? I ask because my potassium levels were high when my GP had some labs done. I have been taking magnesium, but no potassium. Bonnie Re: Magnesium/ Mama Jo > So Ds'ers can take more? I wonder how much we absorb. > ============ ========= ========= === Vicki Quit being neurotic(giggling) ! It doesn't matter if DSers can take more or not. It doesn't matter how much we absorb. BECAUSE: Magnesium is self regulating. Too much and you will shit over the moon and you WILL back off. Plus (assuming Healthy kidneys) your Kidneys will eliminate any excess before it can become toxic. Find your " personal " sweet spot, the amount that is right for you...then enjoy life. Guest guest
Bonnie Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, but I haven't been on the computer for several days. To answer your question... " I don't know " . But common sense tells me that...If Magnesium gives you diarrhea, you can loose potassium that way. Also...I have a distant memory of something like " magnesium deficiency will eventually lead to Potassium deficiency " So logic would say magnesium excess could eventually lead to Potassium excess. But that is just " wild-ass guessing theory " . Hugs Jo +++++++++++++++++++ > Jo, > Can magnesium intake affect your potassium levels?
