where are all our friends?

Hi Everyone, I was just wondering where everyone is? I mean, a lot of

DSers meet for lunch or dinner or whatever when they have appointments

etc in or close to Delano and I never get there, I live about 8 to 10

hrs away so I usually get to see Dr K in a town close by called Ukiah.

So, I thought I'd write and see if anyone ever gets over here would like

to get together, maybe we could get together on a night after our group

meeting or before or if you live close by we could get together once a

month or something. Anyway, it's just a suggestion. I know a couple of

you who will probably be coming the 22nd or 23rd when Dr. K is here.

I've been having some problems so I have to see him early Friday

morning. Anyway, like I said it's just a thought, anyone interested can

send me an email or post it and I should get it. Thank you, Blessings

I would love to get together with you!? Unfortunately I am completely the

opposite direction.? I am in Santee, East County San Diego.

I dont get to see anyone on the list or go to any meetings.? There are no

support groups even CLOSE to me here.? (Just a couple RNY groups that were not

very friendly to DS'rs)

Maybe someday I will get a chance to go north and meet ya!

I live in San and I'm not sure how far that is from Ukiah. I'm

actually going out of the country on business soon, but if it's not

that far, maybe we can meet when I get back? Hope you get your issues

addressed!

Hi Anne, I'm sorry you're so far the other direction, but even more

sorry that you dont have any support groups to go to. Maybe someone

will see this that lives closer to you!? I never get very far from home

but if I ever make a trip down that way maybe we could meet for coffee

or lunch or something. I know it's hard to go to group meetings with a

mix of wls because most of the one's who have RNY's don't like us DSers,

I don't know why unless it's because they resent us. I don't think we

have a bad attitude or anything, they just don't like us :-( anyway,

thank you for responding to my post and I hope some day we'll be able to

meet in person...until then we can meet here if you want? either via

Hi Anita, I'm not sure how far it is either but I'm about 3 hrs drive

North from San Francisco, longer depending on traffic, how far South

are you from SF? I hope you have a good trip, where abouts are you going

out of the country? let me know when you get back, if it's too far to

meet we can always talk on here :-) take care and have a good trip.
