DS Friends of Dr. KeshishianHi : It is the Gas Defense Formula and I only

take it as a preventative before I eat anything that day that may cause odor and

gas: i.e., fruit, beans, white flour. It works for me. If I am home and not

going anywhere I don't take one as they are spendy. It says to take it before

and not after you get gas.

Did you get the big lightening and thunder show last night or didn't it make it

to Bellingham?

Sweet Tart candy...those were the words I remembered. They must be

awesome because most of the responses I have received are the same

brand.

Daryl's surgery was July 14th and he is recovering just dandy. He takes

previcid, a multi and calcium daily and is averaging 80 grams of protein

and while he is such a trooper on the above stuff he struggles with

keeping hydrated. Sip, sip and sip some more is his big challenge since

he was a gulper before. Healing wise his scar is so amazing! I can not

believe how well he is doing. On the food front I have to believe he

has close to a 6 oz tummy. He gets so much hungrier than I was at the

same time and he still has cravings. I did not have cravings till about

6 months out.

Fair or not I can and do eat pretty much what I want and only

occasionally do I have to do a double check to make sure I do not go

over my max weight of 120. I prefer 115 or less, but what can I say. I

am so blessed to have what I have for the last 3 years. My only issue

is Fybromyalgia, big time pain issues. Osteoarthritis as my second

issue and I lost my mind, I am bi-polar and since my surgery it has only

gotten wore. As a surprise my DH bought me my favorite computer game

Soul Caliber. I could not play it. With in seconds m brain was in over

load and I was freaking out; cold sweats, shaking and so angry because I

could not think. Another issue I am faced with is fatigue. We

attempted to see Batman and Iron Man. I fell asleep before the movies

stared and each time I tried to wake up I was pulled back under the

influence of sleep against my will. It so sucks. For the longest time

my labs were great. I had a terrible bout with pancreatitis at the end

of June and now my liver enzymes have skyrocketed too; so I am off all

pain meds and now starting a regimen of Methadone. I did some heavy

research on the stuff and it is supposed to work great on neuropathy

pain not controlled by regular means. So I cross my fingers and have to

get pass the stigma associated with the word 'methadone' my liver is

inflamed and enlarged and so not happy right now. I have to do

something. I have visited about 10 web sites on the subject and the

drug has been used for pain control much longer than getting folks of

heroin though it works for both for different reasons.

Well thanks for reading this long, time for me to get some sleep if I

can.
