Beautiful Misery

I am very much aware

that all around us

is all imagined.

Perceived.

All a dream.

held within the presence

of every sunrise.

Yet,

I found you.

Your ever so soft breath.

Your golden heart which stays in harmony

with the stars that dance at night,

and the aura of you simply being yourself;

All so beautiful.

So pure.

So real.

You alone keep me here-

In this world

and this existance.

I smile, though surrounded by,

and feeling,

the misery and suffering of being here.

I bow my head

and silently think of you.

In my reality, you aren't conceived,

nor perceived.

Empty and alone

my heart weeps.

I touch the wind

but no hint of you I find.

I touch it again i desperation,

but it slaps me and taunts me,

as if saying " you are grasping at air " .

(Such a cruel sense of humor).

Praise to the hours of slumber!

and to my constant daydreams,

so sacred.

By loosing myself,

I find you;

and I get to know and feel love-

To whisper it in your ear

and have it returned

with a smile

and shining soft eyes,

exposing the depths

of your heart,

which accepts me for who I am.

All of my shortcomings,

my failures,

my weaknesses,

dissolve within your reassuring hug.

Mother and child.

Rain for a dying flower.

I bow to you.

I worship you.

You give me happiness.

Emotions.

Love.. innocent love

which reality has forbidden

me from knowing.

Everything in life

I have ever needed

lies within you-

which lies within my dreams-

which lies within my imagination-

which forms the mind

of an empty person.

An empty heart.

An empty life.

Poof!

(smiling)

See you again soon.

Randy
