Raine – what were the issues you were having prior to

the Colectomy that were alleviated afterwards?

Incontinence? Oil leaks?

I

had lived with one whole year of constipation and

abdominal pain. the surgery resolved all the pain

and allowed for semi normal bowel movements. As for

oil slicks, just how much fat do you eat. I have to

eat FAKE butter spreads to get those.

Do you

find that you have more or less often bowel movements

now post Colectomy?

How much

colon was removed?

I do

not have numbers just descriptions. Dr. Z removed

1/2 of the transverse colon anong with about 1/3 of

the decending colon.
