Guest guest
Calcium is so important. When Dr K said I needed to up my calcium, I did so immediately -- however, before my body could benefit from the calcium I fell. Broke my wrist in multiple places. Now I have a magnetic personality. I have a steel plate with screws and bands around the bone. My one bone hasn't healed yet. The orthopedic dr said he could operate and put another screw in, but I told him No. Feel that I have been screwed enough. Yep, calcium is important. I was really down on myself for falling, but it was pointed out to me it could have been worse -- I could have broke my hip. Laurie > > Pat, > I'm so glad you didn't break anything! PTL! But it sure sounds like you might benefit from a really good review of your meds and supplements. I hate feeling so wrung out, without any energy. I've been trying Dr. Oz's recommendation regarding protein. He suggests getting in 30 grms within the first hour after you get up. I drinking my 20 grms of protein and eating my protein/fiber bar. I think feel/see some improvement. Take care Pat. > > > > > To: DS_Friends_Keshishian > Sent: Thursday, April 12, 2012 7:32 AM > Subject: To All > > > Â > I have facebook also, but I come here every time that I get on > the puter..I feel sad that there is hardly any activity > on here any more..I fell Easter Sunday very hard on my right > side..The guys were right there to pick me up, but I said " wait'' > let me see if I hurt.I sat up and could do it so thought > nothing was broken.Finished out the day with my church, then > went to urgent care.
