Hi from Sue,

Re: BIG SOFTGELs... My husband and I take Borage oil since it has more GLA than Primrose oil.. and they are large!..So we chew them ( they pop nicely inside the mouth)..then after chewing a minute just to sqeeze the oil out ----we spit out the shell.... ( Also better for absorption that way ).

Hi ,Here is some more info from another group I would like to share...PC - Phosphatidylcholine -Think of it as B6 and CholinePS - Phosphatidylserine - Think of it as B12PI - Phosphatidylinositol - Think of it as supportive Bs and InositolPE - Phosphatidylethanol mine - Think of it as the other supportive Bs So PC and PS are the most important but they function better when given in balance with the other Phospholipids. The Phospholipid cycle (not sure if that is exactly what it is called) is connected to the Krebs and Methylation cycles. Ignoring it is like putting gas in your car (for Krebs and Methylation) and not putting oil in your car (Phospholipid cycle.) PC and PS Complex does for its cycle what mB12, the other Bs and Folic, and DMG/TMG do for theirs. Many gains are seen in the kids and they tend to branch out in different directions from the gains seen with Bs TMG/DMG. Yet there is still overlaps and overall improvements too. We use the potent PC by itself and the PS in Complex form just to get the other phospolipids in the program. Expensive but poweful PC Brands include:- PhosChol which also has exracted ethanol from the Phosphatidylethanol mine. It is an "ol" which means it is an alcohol which is why it is much easier to pour and dose than Body Bio PC. But kids who are much more sensitive to alcohols many not tolerate it well. My kids do great on it. We add Evening Primrose Oil (Omega 6) to make it work better as Kane says it is necessary. -BodyBio Phosphatidylcholine is Kane's own Brand. She is the Queen of Phospholipids.Already has the extra Omega 6 in it. You can also use less expensive softgels of PC and open them up into their CLO. A bit messy but a more cost effective alternative. THE SOFTGELS ARE HUGE AND NOT MADE FOR KIDS TO SWALLOW. One brand which we have used is NSI from www.vitacost. com They also have PS Complex. We use the Phosphatidylserine Complex by Olympian Labs because we have used it from the beginning and it is a good quality product with all the natural occuring fatty acids in it. We get it from www.vitacost.com too. So it contains PS, PE, PI and fatty acids including caprylic, capric, linoleic, oleic, palmitic, linolenic, and stearic. Everything to support the Phospholipid cycle. PC is more for Acetylcholine producion for memory/learning, singing, reminiscing, drawing, writing, initiating socialization, more. PS blocks glutamates and helps with stress management. Both work better together and with the support staff.>> HI,> > Somebody posted that they use Phosphatisdylcholine from NSI, thru vitacost.com, but when I go there to order, they have Phosphatisdylserine Complex 1000 mg....IS THIS THE SAME? or should I look harder for the other name? Thanks.... > > P.S. If you know, how big are the capsules?>

After a particularly trying afternoon, we went to the VItamin Shoppe to get some vitamins (duh, I know). They have "Attentive Child" by Source Naturals. (These are per 2 tablets)DMAE=100mg; PS=20mg; PC=6mg; PE=3.5mg; PI=1.5mg; Magnesium=120mg; Zinc=2mg. 2 chewable tablets/day based on my son's weight. Does this seem like a good balance? I'm a bit fuzzy and overwhelmed today and con't think straight.Thank you for your help
