Guest guest
I highly reccomend Ion kids. It's a system where the kids where what likes like a watch. Only you have the key to take it off them too. It also has a base that you hold, and when they wander too far it will sound a beeping alarm. Here is the site we got it from.... http://www.brickhousesecurity.com/vbsik.html Your standard GPS is pricey, plus you will pay a monthly fee like you do a cell phone. I am bad as I forgot ours Sat.(trying to get out with 5 kids by 8am was our challent : ) ) when we had our Autism walk, and we lost our son 2 times : ( My Mom would scream at me as she helped us to buy it. Anyhow it is totally worth it.. Hope this info helps you... It is not often that our daughter wandersoff (from home or outings) but when it happens it is scary. We havehad to call police before. GPS has been recommended and we are lookinginto it. Not sure how they work, if they may be appropriate forspecial needs kids (panic buttons???) Any advice will be helpful. Thanks! Sherry Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
