Hi BJ,

Yes, my daughter has gained so much weight. It's all in her belly. I feel so bad

for her.She is on team in gymnastics and is the biggest girl there. She has lost

some of her gymnastics skills from all the weight in her belly. When I watch her

I want to cry. She wants to quit now after 5 years of working.

She seems to be spiraling down into a depression again. Last night she told me

she hates her life and always has, and that she is not " normal " like everyone

else, and that she just doesn't want to live anymore.She hates taking her pills

and doesn't need them.

She seemed a little better this morning. Alot of this , with her, has to do

with her Bipolar and the season changing. Of course, I think with girls, more so

than boys, they are extremely bothered by the weight gain. My daughter has been

bothered by it from meds since she was 5.

My son had gained alot of weight on Abilify. He is only 6, but it never bothered

him. Now that he is off of it he has lost all the weight, and than some.
